This 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution RS is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4G63 inline-four that drives all four wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle, an active center differential, and limited-slip front and rear differentials. It is finished in Rally Red over black leather and Alcantara upholstery and features BBS 17″ forged alloy wheels, cross-drilled and slotted disc brakes, Bilstein shocks, a Japanese-specification rear bumper cover, a GSR rear wing, Recaro front bucket seats, air conditioning, and a MOMO steering wheel. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2024, this Evolution RS now has 12k miles and is offered in Washington with an equipment list, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Oregon title.

The Evolution IX featured an aluminum hood and front fenders while the RS variant added an aluminum roof panel. This example is finished in Rally Red and features a Japanese-specification rear bumper cover with no reflectors as well as rear wing that was sourced from a GSR model. BBS 17″ forged alloy wheels were sourced from an MR model and are mounted with Toyo Proxes 4 Plus tires that were manufactured in 2014. The car is equipped with Bilstein shocks and stopping power is provided by red-finished Brembo calipers over cross-drilled and slotted disc brakes at each corner.

The Recaro front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in black leather with Alcantara inserts and the car was optioned with air conditioning. The RS variant of the Evolution incorporated manual-crank windows and omitted a stereo, sound insulation, trunk lining, and ABS as weight-saving measures. The leather-wrapped MOMO steering wheel fronts a central tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline flanked by a 170-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. A trio of instruments for voltage, oil temperature, and boost pressure are positioned beneath the center stack. The digital odometer indicates 12k miles.

The turbocharged and intercooled 2.0-liter 4G63 inline-four features MIVEC variable valve timing and was factory-rated at 286 horsepower and 289 lb-ft of torque. A strut tower brace spans the engine bay, and the intercooler charge pipes are equipped with Samco couplers. Power is delivered to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle, an active center differential, and limited-slip front and rear differentials.
